Pinot noir “Near & Far”

A focused look at the varietal and its terroir expressive character. A very unique, distinct and different expressions of the noble Pinot Noir.

Aromatic potential: Cherry and blackberry, raspberry, black cherry, blackcurrant, plum, red currant, violet, rose, cinnamon, pepper, licorice, undergrowth, leather, coffee, cocoa, smoke.

Fortified wine

It was born from an accident in the 17th century, during long journeys between Portugal and England. Brandy was added to table wine so that it could withstand sea crossings. Its first and famous harvest in 1820.

A comprehensive comparative tasting of some of Portugal s most iconic fortified wine styles, from the volcanic Island of Madeira, to the terraced steps of Douro and even out along our local coastline to Carcavelhos in Lisbon.

Dão – Encruzado

An in-depth look at Portugal’s first classified DOC region and some of the incredible terroir focused white wines that it produces, arguably some of the best in the country. With Encruzado at the forefront of premium white productions, we’ll keep it as the forefront of our focus for the flight. Here we will look at 4 Encruzado from the same producer Julia Kemper, a family owned estate in the Dão and a vertical tasting on 4 different vintages, 3 from the same plot and vineyard to really give you a sense of vintage variation and the evolution of the wine over time.
